Nothing like the refreshing candor espoused by DC Councilman Trayon White Sr. (D-Ward 8) who posted a video to Facebook blaming climate change on the Jews, then expressing surprise that anyone could think that was antisemitic. Here’s what he said in the video so you can judge for yourself:

“Man, it just started snowing out of nowhere this morning, man. Y’all better pay attention to this climate control, man, this climate manipulation,” says White. “And D.C. keep talking about, ‘We a resilient city.’ And that’s a model based off the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters they can pay for to own the cities, man. Be careful.”

When asked to clarify what, exactly, he meant, White wrote, “The video says what it says.”

After the story hit the Washington Post, however, White was suddenly apologetic:

“I work hard everyday [sic] to combat racism and prejudices of all kinds. I want to apologize to the Jewish Community and anyone I have offended,” said White. “The Jewish community have been allies with me in my journey to help people. I did not intend to be anti-Semitic, and I see I should not have said that after learning from my colleagues.”

Seems legit.
