The world is once again in an uproar over a statement made by President Trump, in regard to Jews who vote Democrat. The US president, at a press conference in the Oval Office, in response to Ilhan Omar’s call to cut the $3 billion in annual aid given to Israel, stated, “I can’t even believe we’re having this conversation.”

“Five years, the concept of even talking about this, even three years ago, of cutting off aid to Israel because of two people that hate Israel and hate Jewish people, I can’t believe we’re even having this conversation. Where has the Democratic Party gone? Where have they gone where they are defending these two people over the state of Israel? I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty,” said President Trump.

These comments have been very upsetting to Jewish Democrats, while Israeli friends seem to find the president’s words supportive.
