Tell Khan: Indigenous, Not Imported, The Truth About Jewish Settlements

ICC prosecutor Karim Khan

International Criminal Court prosecutor Karim Khan is making headlines again, this time with his failed plan to issue arrest warrants for Israeli leaders Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir — a move clearly meant to cast Israeli policy in Judea and Samaria as criminal. But before he could act, Khan was forced to take a leave of absence following allegations of sexual assault. Now we know what he was focusing on for his next antisemitic salvo against the Jewish State.

Meanwhile, the truth about Jewish settlements tells a very different story from the one Khan hoped to peddle. The hilltops where Jews have built their homes were uninhabited. Arabs traditionally settle in the valleys, where the land is fertile and easy to farm. Jews were not “transferred” to these areas — they moved there freely, driven by history and faith. Judea and Samaria are not foreign lands to the Jewish people; they are the cradle of our heritage. One cannot occupy what is rightfully one’s own. The real story here isn’t occupation — it’s vilification.
