I don’t always agree with Senator John Fetterman, but this week, he nailed it. At a time when too many politicians tiptoe around Iran’s threats, Fetterman told the truth: Israel should “take out the ayatollah” and show “no mercy.” That kind of clarity is rare—and urgently needed.
Iran’s leaders aren’t misunderstood moderates. They’re the world’s top state sponsor of terror, actively plotting the next Holocaust. When American leaders speak softly or urge “restraint,” they embolden the regime in Tehran. But Fetterman cut through the noise. He didn’t just support Israel’s right to defend itself—he demanded it. That takes guts.
We should applaud this moment of moral leadership. Supporting Israel shouldn’t be a partisan issue. It should be about recognizing evil and standing firmly against it. On this point, Fetterman deserves credit—and backing.
