It should go without saying that anyone serving as the voice of the U.S. military must meet the highest standard of integrity. That’s why it’s deeply troubling that Kingsley Wilson, now the Pentagon’s chief press secretary, has a history of sharing antisemitic conspiracy theories and extremist content. From attacking the Anti-Defamation League for memorializing Leo Frank, to embracing the white supremacist “Great Replacement” theory, Wilson’s online record is not just questionable—it’s disqualifying.
This isn’t a partisan issue. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have rightly condemned her views. But what’s most disturbing is the lack of urgency from the very institution she represents. The Pentagon’s silence—or worse, its defense—sends the wrong message at a time when antisemitism is rising around the country and the world. There can be no tolerance for bigotry in America’s armed forces. Our military is a place of honor, not a platform for hate.
We owe it to the next generation—including the children we serve at Kars4Kids—to stand firm against this kind of normalization. Jewish Americans deserve to feel safe and respected, especially by the institutions meant to protect them. Kingsley Wilson has made her views clear. Now the Pentagon must make its position clear, too—by showing her the door.
