Ontario’s Shameful Record on Antisemitism in Schools

A Canadian government study has confirmed what Jewish parents in Ontario have known for years: the province’s education system has ignored, downplayed, and mishandled antisemitism. From unchecked Holocaust denial to openly hostile teachers and classmates, Jewish children have been expected to endure what no other minority group would be asked to tolerate.

One parent recounted how her daughter was taunted by classmates who claimed Hitler “should’ve finished the job.” When she reported it to the school, administrators responded by suggesting her daughter avoid “controversial topics” like Israel. That’s not just a lack of support—it’s complicity. When school staff act as if antisemitism is a Jewish problem instead of a human one, they send a chilling message to every Jewish student: you’re on your own.

This isn’t a gap in training—it’s a moral collapse. If Jewish kids aren’t safe in Canadian classrooms, something is deeply broken in the progressive worldview that governs them. Real equity means real consequences for Jew-hatred, not just empty apologies and more seminars. It’s time to hold school systems to the same standards they pretend to uphold. Enough gaslighting. Enough excuses.
