Hamas terrorists fired five rockets at Israel’s center from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, reported the IDF following sirens sounded at 11:00 a.m. Israel time. Sirens went off in Tel Aviv, Kfar Chabad, Rishon Lezion, and Holon, among other areas in central Israel.
Two women in their 30s sustained light injuries and were transferred to Shamir Medical Center. There were several other people who suffered from anxiety and shock, along with some injured during their dash to the nearest safe rooms. Many vehicles and buildings were damaged. Chabad reported a direct hit on Kfar Chabad.
Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades took responsibility for the attacks, stating that it had launched rockets “deep inside” Israeli territory. It is absolutely disgusting that this happened on the anniversary of the October 7th massacre, but not unexpected. In fact, Israelis were warned by the authorities that attacks were to be expected. Such is the inhuman nature of the enemy—they don’t even give us the space to mourn our tragedy or cry for our hostages, both live and dead. May the names and memories of every hateful terrorist be erased forever.
