Israel’s annual International Bible Quiz for Youth takes place on Israeli Independence Day. This year, both first and second place went to yeshiva students, Gilad Avrahamoff and Dvir Barhad, respectively. Third place was taken by American-born contestant Benjamin Ram.

The deciding question was “Who was the first woman to cry?” Barhad gave an incorrect answer, which sealed the win for Avrahamoff. The answer, of course, is Hagar.
