Samaria Car Accident Kills Two Children, Parents in Serious Condition

Meoded family, with their two little girls, killed in a car accident

Just before Shabbos, a car carrying a couple and their two children collided with a second car. The two children were killed, and the parents were grievously injured. The young family was on its way to spend Shabbos with family, when an Arab driver crossed a double white line. As a result, the Jewish family car crashed into the Arab driver’s car.

The three-year-old child, Tov Roi Meoded, was instantly killed. Her sister Haleli (6), hung on until after Shabbos. Their parents, Yaniv ben Ahuva and Hodaya bat Esther remain hospitalized in serious condition in Beilinson hospital. Hodaya was pregnant at the time of the crash, and the fetus did not survive the crash. The fetus was posthumously named Malachi.

In addition to the Meoded family casualities, two Arabs were also killed in the collision.

This terrible car crash and its consequences did not have to happen. The Arabs of Judea and Samaria ignore traffic laws, and there is no one to stop them from their near-constant traffic violations. A solution must be found.
