An ice menorah on display at 93rd Street and Second Avenue in New York City has been destroyed. The menorah, sculpted from ice, was the creation of the Chabad Israel Center. This is yet another incidence of antisemitic vandalism for the city, which saw 45 antisemitic hate crimes in November alone.

That is more than double the figure for November 2021, when “only” 20 attacks occurred. Attacks on Jewish New Yorkers account for 60 percent of all hate crimes in the city. Where does it stop?
Maybe it doesn’t.
